Taco Charlton and Takk McKinley are the best benders in this draft. Barnett is ok, but it's important to look at the posture of the OT as Barnett is getting out of the edge. They are standing straight up so it makes it look like Barnett is rushing at a sharper angle. Charlton is crazy flexible

Are you serious?? Taco's pass rush consist of inside stunts an bull rushes.. He isn't even a good edge rusher.. Do you know what having bend means?? Or what it means to bend the corner to get around your blocker??

Yeah. I'm not sure what you are looking at brother. I disagree whole heartedly. And yes I do. It's why I've been so against drafting Solomon Thomas because he's NEVER done it in a game.

People get way too caught up in what guys HAVE done instead of what they're PROJECTED to do in the NFL.

NFL talent evaluators don't care what a guy was asked to do in college, they're evaluating him based on how they plan to use him in their scheme.

Surely that's entirely speculative though? In this case anyone can project anyone to be anything based on the fact that they have a pulse. While this is certainly theoretically true it seems a weird way to justify a draft selection.

I was just playing along with a ridiculously irrelevant analogy.

The bottom line is that NFL talent evaluators are evaluating guys in terms of how they see them translating to the NFL level in their schemes. You see OTs kicking inside to OG, DEs standing up to play OLB, CBs sliding over to safety.  It's not about what you've done, it's about what you have the ability to do.

It's just baffling to me. You don't pick a player that high off a projection. Kuechly was pick 9! You can get a Luke fuging Kuechly here. I want evidence that he has done it and that it will translate

DE to OLB is such an easy switch. Same responsibilities vs. the run and pass rushing, only difference is dropping more into coverage

You pick every player based off of a projection. None of these guys have ever played a single snap in the NFL.

Based on your logic, we should probably invest most of our time evaluating 6th rounders. You can get a Tom fuging Brady there.
