Good job Bronn...you kinda exposed a guy that I want to hide as a bit of a sleeper at 40 and that is Marlon Humphrey.  He has no buzz right now and he can play.  Is Cook off your board due to character?

Cook's character concerns were just what pushed him off my list completely. I originally had him at 27 because I thought he was more of a product of scheme and a one trick pony. Then he slipped to 35 for much of the same reasons and other guys moving up. Then the character stuff started to surface, and now he's off the board.

Another guy likely to be headed to a similar fate in my next list, pending my further research, is Tim Williams. There's some reports out there about a drug problem (weed) that isn't that big of a deal to me, but I think it will be for the Panthers. He also was arrested with a gun last year, which probably turns the Panthers off even more. I've left him on the list because I haven't been able to look into it too much yet.

Cam Robinson is similar to Cook for me. Overrated for a long time now as a Tackle prospect (I think he'll do okay as a guard in the NFL but nothing noteworthy,) and character concerns are surfacing.

John Ross is a leg injury waiting to happen and I'm not sold on his route tree/route running. He'd probably make my list further down as a roll of the dice, but seeing him come up limping after the record 40 is a huge red flag to me. Why sell yourself as a speed guy when you come up limping on the thing you're selling yourself as?

Sidney Jones is a bit of a heart breaker. He went from 25th in all previous versions of my list to off it because of his injury. He's going to be good in the pros if he can come back from the injury, but I think hoping he comes back during his rookie campaign would be pushing it. You can return from a torn Achilles within 4-6 months, but for a better/full recovery for a sports guy, you're looking at 11 months. Some team might take him earlier with the hope he's back during 2017-2018, but I think that's rushing it, and won't be good for his career.

You can't use that I didn't want to make an excuse as a reason to run the make an excuse when it doesn't work. If you weren't 100% you should have run plain and simple. The I wanted to compete is a given. Now what he did is exactly what he professed he wasn't going to do.
