Christian McCaffrey shills are out in full force!!! On a serious note though if he does end up being the pick I will accept it, I'd rather have Fournette but if it's McCaffrey I won't complain.

For right now, McCaffrey would be a waste under this regime.  Hence the reason Fournette should be the pick.

Yeah, exactly.  Shula designed this offense.  Hence the reason I don't think it will succeed with McCaffrey.  They needed to fire Shula in the offseason, and Rivera didn't do so.  Now, we're stuck with this 1985 offense, still.

Personally I'd be ok with the McCaffrery pick if we traded down into the mid teens with a team like the colts or Baltimore and picked up an extra 2nd round pick. But at 8 it's a major reach in my opinion. 

Ideally we could use the extra 2nd to package with another 2nd and maybe a late rounder to move back into the end of the first and pickup david njoku. 

You'd get two guys with lots of play making ability on 5 year rookie contracts. By then Olsen and stew are long gone.

Yes, probably.  In High School he also played CB and K.  So those as well.

If he is fine as a 15 pick then he is hardly a reach at 8. If it is your turn and he is the guy you need to pull the trigger and not try and be cute or you could miss out on him.

You don't pick players to match the OC game you pick the best players and adapt the gameplan. If he can't adjust you can the OC. Trust me if Shula gets his weapons and we still suck he won't be here after this year. Last year we had not enough talent and too many injuries on offense. If Cam hadn't had the tools either did Shula. You can't have it both ways.

Meh, we looked like poo with the same personnel plus Benji for the first four games.  Both he and Shula were trash.
