Panthers Visited With Tennessee RB Alvin Kamara

Kamara was better than Hurd, and wasn't utilized properly until Jalen quit the team. He has arguably the best balance of downhill running and pass catching skills of any back in this entire draft class. He excels at finding a hole, and although his straight-line speed isn't out-of-this-world, he is very agile and quick to accelerate. Like others have noted, his fumbling is indeed an issue (see the Texas A&M game this year, albeit that was a monster game for him).

I actually watch cfb.

interesting because I watch college football as well.  And there are better backs out there.

Was it his 2 touchdown performance on weak SEC opponents Vany, Mizzou, or Kentucky that impressed you?

When he gets more than 10 carries a game he averages around 7 ypc. In terms of size, speed, strength, elusiveness and catching ability, outside of Mixon nobody is more complete.

Do you know anything about the incompetence of Butch Jones? Kamara was completed wasted at Tennessee

I see your point I looked at stats and some film.  Does look like he can do a lot of things good.  Didn't get a ton of carries but was productive.  Seems they were force feeding Jalen to be great and he fell short.  Kamara was productive with the amount of touches he did get... Maybe that's a plus because he doesn't have a lot of mileage and wear and tear and still considered a top 5 running back.

Would be a good complement to JStew.  Being a featured every down back moving forward for years to come... who knows.  My thoughts is he would be a great combo back in the right system.

I still think the term "completed" back rushing and receiving you could still put Mixon, Fournette, and Cook in that category.
