Multiple Front Office Execs Believe Christian McCaffery Will Go In Top 10

I think his versatility is what's attractive. He will get touches at RB, WR, and ST. He doesn't need 20-+ RB touches while we have Stew. Hell, Stew doesn't need that many either.

McCaffrey and Stew would compliment each other remarkably.   Heck, put them in the same backfield and it opens up so much that we can do.  Defenses wouldn't know what to expect.  And you could move McCaffrey around confusing the defense even more.

The point I was making is that we've seen a white Stanford RB get hyped up by the media before. Much like McCaffrey.

I don't doubt his talent but he is not the 8th best player in this draft.

It was a horrible point no matter the point you were trying to make. They're completely different skillsets.

How so....you had the double whammy of comparing players that are nothing alike and brought his skin color into it. It was a terrible attempt at making a point.

He would be the highest white running back taken since the 1960's, yes?  I don't even give a shlt if that statement is true, it's close.

The Huddle is doing to Mack the same type thing main-stream media was doing to Cam in 2011.

At least they tried to hide it with Cam.

If 4net is there at 8, pick his ass.  If he is gone, go with Christian.  No trading up.  Leave 8 at 8.

I hate to accuse people of not watching a player, but I feel like a lot of people on this site haven't actually taken the time to watch McCaffrey.

He is one of the most elusive RBs to come out of college football in a very long time and combines it with top tier vision.  He's very similar to LeSean McCoy (built like him too), while also having the football IQ and footwork to run crisp routes and be a solid receiver.

There are some guys you just know will be good in the NFL, it is just a question of how good.  McCaffrey might never turn into a great player, it's possible, but barring him going to a team that has no idea what to do with him or injuries, I seriously doubt he will flat out bust.  He has too diverse of a skill-set to go with his athleticism.
