Ideally I would love to see us trade back a couple spots and grab McC, and then come back with that booty and get back in the 1st to get Njoku or another offensive playmaker for Cam.

Trading down isn't always easy, so if that isn't possible, and Adams is sitting there it's him....if not McCaffrey would be my pick, then possibly Howard after that.

Took me like the posts in to figure out this post wasn't about Julius Peppers.

Neither one of these guys is worthy of the #8 pick because of all the other guys ahead of them that are.

Peppers is a better experimental player because those types of players transition better on the defensive side of the ball. See: Thomas Davis, Shaq Thompson, etc.

McCaffrey is very good, but on offense, hybridization in the NFL often leads to a gimmick/special teams role which doesn't necessarily translate well. See: Reggie Bush, etc.

I'd take either of them in the 15-25 range because I think they'll be good in the NFL. But Peppers is the smarter money when it comes to betting on success and length of career.

Not at all. Looking at scouts and people I trust to do proper evaluations. One has him as low as a 4th rounder.

He's not nearly as good as people think he is, sorry. We better not take him at #8, would be such a huge reach. Take Fournette, Allen, Adams, Hooker, Barnett, or any number of others before him.

Oh, good sir... you can bet your ass that Shula could most definitely fug it up.

And that's why I hope the Panthers don't pick him at 8, would be a wasted pick with Shula calling plays. If we had a creative OC I wouldn't mind getting him at all.
