More than likely or early 2nd before us. Seems like a smokescreen.

Would love to see us trade up for this kid. I love his potential.

You guys keep bringing up that 11% drop rate, yet don't even consider that's fixable. He only drops because he focused so much on getting YAC and runs while he catches.

He shows proper catching form anyhow. He shows he knows how to block, and he can add 10-15lbs to his frame easy. He'll be a monster soon enough, and perfect behind Olsen.

Someone with an 11% drop rate is NOT better than Howard.

And Howard is the better blocker

and taller

And heaver

And faster in straight line (40 at combine)

And faster in change of direction drills (3 cone and 20 yrd shuttle)

And stronger (BP at combine)

With all of that being said though I think Njoku has a world of potential.

Not sure why they can't both turn out to be really good pros.

I would consider this guy a legit candidate to be targeted by this staff. If you have watched anything on him he is a high character guy that fits the mold of this organization.

His whole family is full of doctors and engineers and other highly regarded professionals. You can tell he was raised well and has a good head on his shoulders. Track star (high jump champ) and went to Miami with strong ties to Olsen.  Still fairly raw with tons of potential.

I couldn't think of a better disciple for Olsen than this guy, makes a lot of sense. If Dave has been anything this offseason, it's fairly predictable, think Kalil, peppers and captain.

I say if he's there at the end of the first you move up a few spots to grab him, or ideally snag him at 40. Could help address Oline strength / versatility and passing game more than anyone else at that spot in the draft.

Don't forget his most important panther friendly trait: exotic/difficult last name.
