I'm calling it, Panthers Trade up to #2 for Fournette

Theres only two players in this draft you trade that much to move up. Garrett and Fournette.  its assumed that its about 99% that Browns are taking Garrett since they are moving to a 4-3 D.  Few think they take a QB.  Fournette would be the only other player that I could see moving up to take.  We will have a better understanding of this said "rumor" which was generated from a Mock Draft from some "expert" after LSU pro day in a couple of days which Rivera said he would personally be at.

Y'all asking for Howard are gonna be in for a major disappointment. We aren't drafting a #2 TE who is tentative 8th overall.

Hell all we've done the last two years is draft backups, god forbid we get some depth on the offensive side huh?

Not to mention, it would take a dumb OC to somehow not be able to find ways to get O.J. Howard on the field enough to the point where he's basically a starter.  It would be like if when the Patriots had Gronk and Hernandez, they decided to just keep one on the bench.

I'd be pissed if we trade two second round picks to just get Fournette. Gettleman needs to stick to his "we are never only one player away" mantra. This draft is DEEP. The more players we can get the better. Having depth and competition outweighs 1 good starter.

Just no, I said my piece about it, there's just too many good players and positions in the draft to jump up to 2 for a running back.

Now if Myles dropped to 2, and he's Julius Peppers with a motor-- then I could live with it,...

Otherwise, no ONE player is worth the opportunity cost wasted on drafting more blue chips--

Hell to the No
