They are pretty sure someone is taking fournette out of the top 7?

Im not so sure the jags are gonna draft him.

I mean, if he falls to us, obviously he would be the pick, but six out of the top ten teams have interest in him, I doubt both Jags and Jets pass on him.

He's only really talked about a trade up, but it's Gettleman, so...

Ah, got it. I'm kind of still hoping for a trade down so we can get some additional firepower to move back into the first for obi.

The real question is will we give SF/CHI enough to move up, and will Jax find out and shoot them a better offer? I am hoping beyond hopes we get Fournette.

I just think that the regime has to come to terms with the fact that Fournette is likely out of reach. They need to plan for the next set of guys and if Fournette happens to fall it will be a pleasant surprise. But Jacksonville won't pass on him. I see no scenario in which that happens. And it would be more likely that a team like Cleveland would jump up and grab him ahead of Jacksonville anyway. They have more ammunition. Can you imagine Cleveland getting both Garrett and Fournette? It's a scenario right out of Draft Day.

Moving up to draft a running back, even if only giving up a 2nd.....is awfully stupid in this draft.

if its such a deep draft then gman will have no prob finding good players with later picks when we deal our earlier ones

Gettleman drafted 6 players only once we have 8 picks
