As a Panthers fan with connections, do you personally think we'd go after another WR this early with the OL/DB guys that are left?

I'm not judging, just genuinely curious.

Personally? Err, he said Zay Jones, and he says we want speed in the draft, wanted John Ross in the trade down. I think our priority list going into this is
1. RB
2. Speed receiver
3. Secondary
4. Pass rush
5. O-line

The question is, do they feel like they filled the speed receiver role with McCaffrey though?

Green Bay picks just ahead of Seattle. If the rumors are true about Seattle targeting Obi, I wouldn't be surprised if we're aiming to jump ahead of them to nab him first.

Yeah, but they're also ahead of not only Seattle but Jacksonville too.

So it could be for Cam Robinson (which is who I would hope for).

It could be for Cam Robinson as well. Lamp may be a better player but Robinson could be worth the risk in the second. Robinson flashed when he totally shut down Miles Garrett one on one.

I've seen Robinson get worked by way lesser guys, though. Especially in pass protection, which is the area we need the most.

He's a decent enough hand guy/puller, but if you stand him up one on one to seal an edge, he isn't that great.

I think he'd make a good G or RT, but the other stuff scares me off a little bit when combined with some of the bad things I've see him do on the field.

I've the Panthers have vetted all that, then good deal.

How about Chris Godwin who is big and fast, I know we brought him in

By that order though I'm going to say

2. Jones, Godwin

3. Teez Tabor

4. Tanoh Kpassagon

5. ? Wish it'd be Kittle

Robinson, I think, was one of the more heavily vetted prospects by the Panthers.

So if they pick him (whether they move up or not), they've done their homework.

If he's there at our pick and they pass on him, they've also done their homework!

To be fair (I'm about to get a lot of hear from guys I've argued with) I haven't watched much film of Jones, but he could be something I guess.

I should watch.

If they do draft Cam Robinson I think they cut Michael Oher and start Cam at right tackle day 1.

I would not disappointed with this.

over Daryl?

No way would I give him that job. He'd have to earn it. He could, in time. But Williams has earned his spot right now.

If we took him, I'd groom him at LG.

Obviously he would have to look better than Williams to be given the starting job. I don't foresee that being a problem

If Cam works out he could be your starting LT next year and Williams your starting RT.

It would definitely be a nice luxury to have.

Watch the following players for the Panthers in round 2-3:
Zay Jones
Obi Melifonwu
Tanoh Kpassagnon
Jordan Willis
Cam Robinson

If I had to guess our next two picks are Zay and Tanoh.

Look for the following players for the Jets in rounds 2-3:
Brad Seaton
Kevin King
Davis Webb

Look for the following players for the Seahawks in rounds 2-3:
Obi Melifonwu
Malik McDowell
Isaac Asiata

My guess is Obi for them at the top of 2

Look for the following players for the Bears in rounds 2-3:
Cooper Kupp
Ryan Glasglow
Cameron Lee
Josh Jones
