Some notes from my source

Followed up on this, word is they have Cam Robinson rated as a top 10 player. Pick probably boils down to S.Thomas, OJ Howard, J.Allen, and Cam.

Yep that parallels with what I heard when a source I recently saw said Jags are strongly considering o-line at 4.

You hear anything on Fournette? I still heard that Jax has interest, but that's something from a while back.

Do you know what they have in their pecking order?

I would trade #8 and next year's first for Garrett if he falls a few picks.

Wouldn't give anything beyond that though.

You say that now, but when next year rolls around you'll say, "Why were we stupid enough to trade this years first last year????"

Edge rushers are the QBs of the defense and Garrett looks to be a generational talent.

The only scenario where it ever makes sense to trade next year's first round pick is 1) you don't have a QB and you do it to secure an elite prospect and 2) you don't have an elite edge rushers and you do it to secure an elite prospect.

I'm not foolish enough to think it will happen.  Just pointing out that Garrett is that kind of player.

Oh the humanity if they take Cam Robinson at #4. Is it possible to have a seizure from laughing too hard. Please let it be.

I'm not foolish to think it will happen either, but the better play (assuming the Bills miss out on their QB and we get Fournette at 8 and somehow the Bengals pass on Barnett) would be to trade 40, 64, and next year's 1st to the Bills at 10 and get Barnett ahead of the Saints.  Boom.  The Saints miss out on an elite pass rusher and we get Fournette and Barnett with 5 picks to still play with.  We're not getting a Barnett in the late 1st next year, the value chart lines up, and we have a good relationship with the Bills, who are going nowhere this year.  One can dream I guess.

I thought we could, but it seems like every thread people just argue and say stupid crap to each other.

Lobo there are peaks and valleys on the Huddle.

The weeks leading up to FA are terrible and the weeks leading up the draft are god awful. 24 hours after a loss are the worst and I take a break from the Huddle when it happens for that following Monday.

The good posters and discussions make it bearable and enjoyable still.
