Well my first two sentences were about not practicing with team until August. Let's hope I'm speaking nonsense and he really is super man and a month of practice will suffice.

I personally think he will have time to work on his FEET which are the big issue at times when he's off. Good point about building chemistry with the new guys but him just being there will go a long way with that.

The off-season activities are just basic drills. They aren't practicing. They certainly aren't showing any new offense in drills. That will be done after camp and closed practice begins. They said he would be present but not physically participating in otas so any meetings they have about the offense he will be present.

I've torn both of mine and it's not a quick recovery, especially with a throwing motion.  I hope he's ready, but I'm not real confident about it.

Maybe we can ask the NFL if the Panthers can just sit this year out. In the mean time we can discuss the Panther logo midfield...lol jk...but black uniforms and helmets would be sweet.

tom brady missed the first 4 weeks and the pats still won the super bowl. 

relax.

if Cam misses any of the regular season, we just need DA to come in and and manage some games for us, not make any stupid mistakes, and rely on our elite defense. Jimmy G. and company led the Pats to a 3-1 record. If Cam doesn't come back till Oct, we just need DA to go 2-2 and life will be good.

The comments Cam made during the season and at the end were indications that he was physically and mentally beat up...you could see frustration all over his face..Pain will mess you up in the head and people not responding to his hits the way that they should have would make anyone say f this...but Cam being willing to come back out there and play with the grimace on his face and laying there on the ground in pain and still playing was enough for me to say..Ya he still loves the game and is still in it to win...he could have been like Jay Cutler or Big Ben and quit, but as Rivera said Cam wanted to play!

Everything went well with the surgery so lets hope he'll heal quicker than expected.

Basically he'll miss OTAs and minicamps.  August training camp begins. 

I think he'll get more than just mental reps.
