Fiz makes a thread about Julius Peppers

why in the world does anyone believe peppers was going to have a fruitful NBA career

he was a poor man's chris wilcox without an NBA position

he hasn't learned a single move since coming to the NFL, why in the world does anyone think he was going to learn a jump shot or a post move

He would be terrible in the NBA and would disappear a lot more than he does here on the Panthers. But who knows what goes on inside Julius' head.

Fan's point of view: How can you make that much money and not give your all?

Julius' point of view: I didn't want to be here. I could have made this much or even more money playing somewhere I DID want to be, where I liked my coach. This is the only job I've ever known, so I don't care if I'm not giving everything I have for these people because I asked them to let me go.

of course you're allowed to vanish for the regular season in the NBA and still be an all star

see O'Neil, Shaquille

hell, if you're kareem abdul jabar you can go to the hall of fame

Fiz, you my friend have hit the nail on the head.

While your approach is blunt and comical, everything you said is 100% truth.

Anyone who argues otherwise isn't really worth arguing with, because frankly... they just don't know what they're talking about. I can see people defending Peppers in 2006, through 2007, and even last season... but now it's over. There's nothing left to defend.

If you think he's great, good, acceptable, or even average, that's fantastic for you.. just know that your opinion is not one that's shared with anyone who actually knows the first thing about football.

Julius Peppers is the defensive version of Jake Delhomme. He's done. Get over it. There's nothing anyone can do about it. There comes a time when every pro athlete is done... these guys are done... the FA just failed to acknowledge it. If you want to be as blind as them, then that's your problem I guess.

Julius POV part B: Hmmm, if I sign my FT sheet right away the Panthers can trade me and I'm out of here. But I might not get to go exactly where I want, Fug it, I ain't signing.
