Yeah the chances are very slim if not zero but if you love a QB you take him. Browns caught a lot of flack for passing on Wentz last year, so they could feel a bit of pressure to find a QB. There's no guarantee "their guy" will be there at 12.

only way that happens is if the Browns decide to draft a QB with pick 1 and the Panthers organization really wants Garrett to by Peppers 2.0

However like it's already been said, the cost would be too high to make it a practical move. I'm guessing at minimum we'd have to give up Pick #8,  both 2nd rounders , probably the 3rd compensatory, and possibly next year's 1st or 2nd rounder that's way too much.

What kind of logic is that? To move from 40 to 12 would require too much draft capital. Your basically asking the team you're trading with to lose a top 15 pick in the draft for much more inferior talent pool in the 2nd round.

Yeah, it would be something like #8, #40, #64 and a 2nd in 2018 to get to #2.

No way we trade up to #4 either unless JAX goes in a different direction than Fournette. Why would the team that wants him, trade with a team that also wants him? Unless Adams or Thomas falls to 4, LF makes too much sense for JAX.
