The TE no one is talking about who ran 4.43

An H-Back is needed with the departure of Tolbert. It would definitely give some flexibility in the hurry up if he can move up and play on the line.

Everyone keeps talking about adding a fullback but I could see us going the H-back route.

These smaller TEs might not be great inline blockers but they might have the quickness to block in space.

i could see us looking at both type of TEs.  Wouldn't be crazy for us to carry 4 on the roster.

I just think that the type of offense Appalachian runs could be more similar to what the Panthers will look to run going forward. It is very run heavy, stretch the field, misdirection runs and throws off of play action and many formations rely heavily on having an H-Back. There aren't a lot of option runs incorporated but there are enough for the QB to run 2 to 10 times a game if needed.

If that isn't the goal, I think that an H-back is still beneficial because it provides a lot more flexibility in play calling.

He's a bigger WR. I like him, but he will likely go pretty early. My issue is that for a TE2, I think we do need someone who can block. Is Engram really any better than Zay Jones out of the slot? With Olsen, Engram is basically a slot WR. He can't block like Howard or Leggett.

Right. Even if he's there at 40, we would pass on him.

Okay then, then draft him as a receiver. His 40 time and vertical would be near the top of the class. He runs good routes, has solid hands, and has plus size at receiver. You would be a moron to pass that up at 40.

I took Jordan Leggett at 64 in a mock draft (granted a bit high) when Engram was still available

I just don't think Engram is a fit or what we need right now

Leggett is a garbage blocker. I don't get this weird fascination with him on this board.

Yea.....it's pretty retadred(misspelled on purpose) to say I went Leggett because some other guy didn't block well....like...lol...this poo is delivering today.
