The TE no one is talking about who ran 4.43

Unfortunately, it sounds like Ron sees no need for another TE, since we already have the great Ed Dickson backing up Greg.

Some of the things Ron says really make me question what's his concept of a good offense.

Has a visit with Carolina. Ran under a 7 second 3 cone drill. Underrated blocker, go watch him matched up vs Texas A&M. Reminds me of Jordan Reed and is bigger and faster than him when he entered the league

I just think that the type of offense Appalachian runs could be more similar to what the Panthers will look to run going forward. It is very run heavy, stretch the field, misdirection runs and throws off of play action and many formations rely heavily on having an H-Back. There aren't a lot of option runs incorporated but there are enough for the QB to run 2 to 10 times a game if needed. 

If that isn't the goal, I think that an H-back is still beneficial because it provides a lot more flexibility in play calling.

Okay then, then draft him as a receiver. His 40 time and vertical would be near the top of the class. He runs good routes, has solid hands, and has plus size at receiver. You would be a moron to pass that up at 40.
