The TE no one is talking about who ran 4.43

Personally, I think he would better for our offense than OJ Howard, Considering his speed.

Evan Engram, TE, Ole Miss
Height: 6-3. Weight: 235. Arm: 32.33. Hand: 10.
40 Time: 4.42.
Projected Round (2017): 2-3.

3/18/17: Last season, Engram illustrated that he is a dynamic receiving tight end for the NFL in the mold of Jordan Reed. Engram had excellent games against Florida State and Alabama. On the year, he totaled 65 receptions for 926 yards and eight scores.

Engram is a fast receiver who is a good route-runner. He isn't a big blocker for the NFL though, but he fights hard as a blocker and is able to contribute some. Engram had an impressive Senior Bowl to help his draft stock. He stands a good shot of being drafted on Day 2. Engram helped himself with a tremendous combine where he had a much faster than expected 40 and was superb in the field drills.

If we don't draft OJ in the 1st by whatever scenario plays out... I wouldn't be mad at all with Engram in the 3rd.  Ron presser today, RR said he was happy with the TE depth so I doubt we use a high pick on a TE.

But yes Engram would be a nice addition.

He's a bigger WR. I like him, but he will likely go pretty early. My issue is that for a TE2, I think we do need someone who can block. Is Engram really any better than Zay Jones out of the slot? With Olsen, Engram is basically a slot WR. He can't block like Howard or Leggett.

I concur with this.  I think Engram is a great receiving TE. But for a TE2 that we need we need a bigger better blocking TE like a George Kittle from Iowa who is good at blocking and good at receiving.

I would much rather have WR Zay Jones, Isiah Ford, or Ju-Ju in the 2-4th rounds looking for another receiving threat.

An H-Back is needed with the departure of Tolbert. It would definitely give some flexibility in the hurry up if he can move up and play on the line.
