It's hard to put much stock in a mock that has us taking Cook. And not just because of the off the field stuff. I just don't think he's that good.

For the love of Pete, this has been a dream scenario for a damned year, Derek Barnett!!!!!!!!  Let the Bengals, Saints, Colts, Eagles, Ravens, Bucs, Lions, Giants, etc. say "damn!" and know that a year of sucking was worth getting the most productive DE in SEC History at our position of biggest need.

Yeah. The logic is that they trade with us because they think someone beyond us is going to take him. 

We don't waste time putting on that facade or they would trade ahead of us if they did fall for it.

Absolutely no drive, or skill with his pass rush moves. He has a long body, but he's extremely raw. Wouldn't even want with our second round picks at his level.

He'll be viewed as a late bloomer imo.  His film has progressively gotten better.  And his size/athleticism combo is in the top tier at the position.
