Cook's rap sheet

Most meat we eat comes from fully grown animals. Also those animals were killed as humainly as possible. It's like do you feel sorry for the bug that gets trapped in the web or do you help the bug and kill the spider? People need meat to survive just like spiders need bugs to do so. Neither is curl.

I see both sides... But you might check some facts on meat processing. I understood you and the argument. Still doesn't change the fact that I think about what goes in my body and how it got there. Thinking that all animals are pets is a long reach but it's to make a point.
Knowing the meat is mostly disease free and handled in monitored facilities for sanitation is good to know but that doesn't take away from the damage these massive farms do to the environment and the awful conditions the animals live in. I've made a decent living selling steak so that's where I've become a hypocrite. It's all good though

chaining a animal to a tree is hardly bullying. No one is saying it's right but that bullying???? come on. you would have the whole board thinking he's going around punching puppies in the face. He probably should be sited for not taking proper care of the dogs but bullying....now u make him sound like micheal vick..which i have already seen that comparision around here. smh. But yea they were chained up he should not be allowed to play in the NFL ever...

im not arguing the guy shouldnt ever play in the NFL. hes talented and maybe he's gonna walk the line. i hope he does. he deserves to make a living. my point is if im investing millions (first and second type money anyway) , i go elsewhere.

we make mistakes, guy has likely been handed a rough home life. that matters, i know from experience. the question is how is he gonna learn not to engage in bad behavior if there are no consequences? i can forgive him (we all should) but i wont reward it until i see he can be a good citizen.

My thinking is this. I'm sure a lot of team probably think just like u. He doesn't deserve a chance to prove he's a good human being and he is probably gonna get in more trouble. He is going to fall. maybe in the 20's his football talent is better than that. That would be a steal in my mind. If my team champions having such a great locker room and full of leaders like we all think it is why not teach this young man the right way. Instead of assuming he's a peice of human waste. Take him away from where he grew up out of those conditions and you might find he is better for it. It's charlotte...not like there is a lot of bad you can really get into. Charlotte's worse parts make other cities hood areas look like ballantyne. This is still a very young man. he isn't who is going to be he's still growing and learning. let's not judge him cause he had some dogs chained to a tree.

I wouldn't draft Cook in round 1 and especially not before McCaffrey.  Outside of him being 8 pounds heavier I cannot find 1 metric that Cook is better.  Including production, character, I mean NOTHING.  McCaffrey is better in every way.

Those poor conditions are a direct result of our government. They have allowed a few big companies to process all chicken and beef. If there were competition we might not have those problems but then Tyson runs 90% of the chicken business who can compete? Everything our government touches turn out worse.

@GoobyPls might have something to say about that. He had something to say when I suggested this a few weeks ago.

No way the Panthers pick Cook over McCaffrey. It would never happen. And it's not just the Panthers. Too bad Cincy doesn't need a back (or maybe they do), they'd likely pick Cook...

Nice try, but taking a long walk off a short bridge means he's just at the other end of the bridge.
