Need some Chicago logistics help

Going up in early June with some fellas to see Cubs/Cards(fav baseball teams) and U2 at Soldier. 

My mom no longer lives there so there goes my free place to stay.

Im checking airbnb and im trying to find something near a bit of everything but good for either walking/ social life or quick uber to Wrigley then Soldier.

Checkout river north or Wrigleyville.

Other options is gold Coast,  Lincoln Park  or Lakeview. All close to Wrigley and good entertainment options.

Also don't take a taxi or uber from the airport faster to take the train. Just get a cta card.  The redline  train runs to both soldier field and Wrigley.
