Briggs-Myers Personality Test

I think the last time I really tried and took it before the other day was back in college (circa 2002?) and that's when I got the INFP.

As I have gotten older, I think I still get the feels enough, but I do find myself acting in more thought-driven ways most of the time. But, I can completely understand why I'm only a 1% T because I probably would be described by most who know me as having a big heart and being empathetic and acting with emotion about half the time.

As far as the P to J transition, I think that just getting older makes me more of a judge than a perceiving person. I've always been a planner to an extent, but I think as I get older, I lean more towards getting the hard work done and then playing rather than procrastinating to the last moment. From what I can tell, P's are likely more the young/carefree type of person. But, as I have gotten older, I think I've become more of an adult (duh!) in that I know the things that need to get done and try to do them rather than trying to avoid them until the last minute.

I think there is definitely something to the personality types. It is pretty accurate each time I take different versions. That said, I think people can and do change over time, due to life experiences.

i just took this test again for shits and i got infj, whereas last year i got intj. so my thinking got flipped to feeling but it's still fairly close. other than that, i'm still an introvert but it went down from last year from 72% to 59%. i'm not really surprised because i got a job in nyc in the last year that has forced me to adapt to social interaction. other than that there were no massive changes though.

I've wondered if is this your personality for life or do you evolve and change over time?   I bet you may even get different results based on how you feel that day or what kind of mood you're in.

this is a major and valid criticism of personality based tests like these

Its funny because I feel no one will take me serious on here and for good reason. I use the huddle and even the panthers as an escape. I feel like my shadow(everything about me I repress consciously and uncouncious, the literal polar opposite of how I act and others percieve myself), the repressed version of me who is careless, jagged, in your face, boistrous, offensive part of me expresses itself on here. I'm so conscerned with keeping the peace and being careful how I act in real life where on here I just relax and let loose. So before anyone shits on me and claims not infj, please keep that in mind. It fits me to a T. Everything about me and my career and how I think and feel is INFJ
