Only Deshaun Watson, Football Johnny, and Cam were able to make Alabama's defense crumple up. Don't recall any player in a non-QB position fairing well recently.

Nick Marshall (Auburn QB) also carved Bama up in both 2013 and 2014.

Auburn lost in 2014 because (1) our HC would go full Ron Rivera conservative every time we entered the Red Zone and (2) our defense couldn't stop a Tiny Tot team.

Auburn brothers unite. geez, we're worse than panther fans when it comes to debating. ;)

one other unrelated point, if we draft fournette and mccaffrey and have to trade up for one or both, ill have to be treated at the hospital, the mental kind.

because a good running game doesn't protect the quarterback. taking more off cam shoulders not relying on him being our short yardage back would go along way.I ve always heard a quarterback best friend is a strong running game.

But I would not take Christian over Fournette. 

This should not happen. Just because he can catch doesn't mean he is better than all of the receivers who have been training to play the position all their life. You get one or the other and use their talents. not cut the feet from under the other because you draft a runningback and try to make him learn another position. I honestly love Christian,but all all this drafting two runningbacks in the first round sounds like white people being in love with a white guy running the ball and having him look like them. Normally this board is against taking any RB in the first now hey lets draft 2 if the white guy is still there....

I'm black. Wouldn't be upset if we picked McCaffrey over Fournette. The kid would fill more than just our RB need, his skin could glow in the dark for all I care.

I don't care what any of you say but this kid can't be put back there and run 20 times a game, and we won't use him in the passing game like he should be used. That's not how Panthers play and we might as well get use to it till we get a different coaching staff. I'm not big on Fournette but more than likely he will be the pick and McCaffrey will not be. Just plain and simple!!!

I wouldn't pick him over him at all. but the point being made is that take one or the other not both. dont draft a slash player to fill a wr need.

You've got some issues there buddy.

And as to Christian having to learn a new position, you know who his dad was, right? He has probably been playing backyard receiver since he was born, learning about routes, and cuts and how to catch the ball. He would be a fine slot receiver day 1.
