What makes this interesting is if the Jags don't take him, a team who wants him will need to make a quick swap with the Titans, Jets or Chargers.

Personally I'm not a huge fan of taking a RB in the first round but I don't really think you could fault any team for picking Fournette in the top 10.

I just hope we don't do something crazy and give up a lot to trade up.

Would rather have a Game changing TE or lock down corner. The problem wasn't the run game it was blocking. Adrian Peterson for all his gifts got the Vikings where years later

Bo Jackson and Herschel Walker ran 4.2-4.3 40's, not 4.51's.

So, right off the bat, Zierlen shows that he was born sometime after 1985.

And that's why it's not all about the 40. Game speed means a lot. Also, a football field is 100 yards.

I'm not going to argue the validity of the comparison since the guys you mentioned are truly some of the all-time greats (Dickerson may have been my favorite to watch with how smooth he was...plus I was a Ram fan at the time).  But I'm assuming the comparison is based more on style of play than ability (at least I hope so).  In style, Fournette is a size, power, speed back like all three of those guys, but until/if he earns it in the NFL, that's the only comparison that you can make.

However, I do think Fournette is faster than his combine time indicated.  For some reason he came into the combine 10-15 pounds heavier than his playing weight, and it showed up in his explosion and speed.  On tape, he has plenty of speed.  He reportedly ran a 4.35 at LSU, and that shows up on tape as he is able to runaway from DB's.  But even then, no, he's not on Bo's speed level.  Bo was a freak, and I don't believe there will be another Bo.
