I'm now gonna say Week 4 vs Skins is the make or break game of 09

Yes the odds are against the Panthers being in an 0-3 hole.

But we know how bad the Skins are.

The bye comes at exactly the right time to regroup, fix some things and hopefully some heart to heart in all phases of the game are talked about.

Some manhood needs to be challenged.

make or break for us was last night, an 0-3 team has not made the playoffs since 1998 when the buffalo bills did, we will not be the team to break that streak and get in because our team is defeated. The heart is gone from (the majority) of this team. I honestly wonder if we can even beat the bills late in october. I might be stuck booing at the stadium if delhomme is still our starter then.

Looking at the schedule, I keep saying to myself this team could easily be 4-3 after the next 4 games. But then I think there is no way in HELL this team can win 4 games in a row.

wow, i was getting blasted for saying such things just a couple of weeks ago! i guess i was right and just saw us for what we really were before everyone else.

and we won't make it to 8-8. some of you are still dreaming. we'll win at least 3 with a shot at 5 wins.

All a week 5 win will do is make sure we don't go 0-16. There's no way this team is in the hunt for the playoffs unless they make some major changes to the way they play. Hoping for mediocrity is a sad sad place to be.
