Beason in the 2nd half

Beason looked very upset for a bit there in the 2nd half. Anyone have a clue of what was happening? It seems like this new scheme has him frustrated. I know he's fighting an uphill battle with the DT situation - it looks like he constantly has a lineman in his face, but there seems to be a lot more to it than that.

I think he was upset b/c he and they were not getting it done. No one on defense seems to be in position to make the plays....and when they are they don't make the tackle. He is the face and leader of a sad bunch.....I would be mad too. Beason hasn't looked that great this year either....which is probably the biggest part. He is making a lot of errors also.

The first half, the defense looked pretty good. They were a lot more aggressive and made plays. They put good pressure on Romo, then the Panthers happened. They played bend don't break in the second half.

Pregame, one of the sideline reporters said Beason mentioned that with so many starters out on D, it was hard to trust the guy playing next to you. It was painfully obvious in the second half

I think he is tired of seeing Hayden blown up and having 300lb o-lineman in his face all day

I think he's just sick of losing and was fired up. He laid some serious wood on a few tackles in the 2nd half.

He is mad at Pep. At Godfrey. At missed tackles.

I could see any or all of these, especially the first.

Put yourself in his shoes. Beason is young, and plays with a chip on his shoulder nearly every down. When you can't get to the line of scrimmage to make a play, can't rely on those around you, and are behind in a "must win" game, emotions are going to show. The worst thing in sports is putting your heart and soul into the game, playing great, and having the team crumble around you. At this point, I'm not sure what needs to be done defensively.

I understand the linemen in his face and adjusting to the new scheme, but it just seems like more than that. After calling the timeout it seems like he has a serious lack of faith in the playcalling.

Actually, after the timeout, he was pissed off at Marshall for not doing his job.
