Amazing breakdown of our visits

Recommended Posts

imo, round 1 and possibly round 2 players have so much game film that a work out may or may not be needed.  Now players from smaller schools that dont have alot of game film I would think coaches would bring in for a look.  I dont see the point in bringing a player in for a workout if you goto their proday etc.  Use your visit on a player you need to see more of.  Bringing a player in from the 1st round may just indicate that you want to check something specific.

I love the format where you can downvote dumb comments.  It allows you to see the actual popular opinions and reduces the amount of poo-posts and trolls.

the downside to this is dissenting opinions that have merit don't get any credit, this is less obvious in smaller subs but /r/nfl is awful. I can't stand that place

You don't have to draft OT's high to get better than what the Panthers have on the roster now. I never said anything about drafting one high. Just draft one! Or two!

And they might. But even if they do, you're looking at a few years before they get ready, and it's still a terrible draft class.

In a bad draft class, the few worth drafting tend to be high picks. But even so, anyone you take isn't guaranteed to be that good because the prospects are inferior. You can hope for a diamond in the rough, but that's not easy to find.

You have to be smart, and reaching for need - even in a lower round - isn't smart.

Since the panthers only sign about 8-10 undrafted players, they get in good some by spending time/workouts/vists. That helps come time to choose "panthers where the only team to show interest". That maybe why a few of those names are unknown.

It has already been said the saints are trying to see who carolina likes at 8 to maybe try to jump them. They probably trying to keep the players of interest at 8 so hidden they wont even bring them in for a visit.

Good grief, that would be an incredibly stupid reason to draft a guy.

But, it's the Saints we're talking about, so good chance it's the truth. LOL!
