Imo Hunt, Perine, or Foreman will be the RB we draft..

If Fournette doesn't fall into our laps at 8 (or if we trade down,) Perine is my first option.

If we opt to go after an RB in rounds 4-5, my current dark horse is Brian Hill. I love everything about this dude.

He's basically a 20 pound lighter version of Fournette. Because of that, some of his cuts are quicker than Fournette.

Perine is my choice behind Fournette at RB, he has a low center of gravity and can  be an every down back.  Holds a single game record at 427 yards set by Melvin Gordon the week before.  I've seen clips of him good in the pass and he's brutally strong.  He did 30 or 35 bench presses at the combine,  He may not punish the defense like Fournette might be shows a lot of potential.  I am a fan but would still like to see Fournette.

Jamal Williams

Like his base like his power does have wiggle to his game.

Runs alot from the I formation and single back with QB under the center.. Like to see more of his running from a dead stop instead of a head start.. Is a down hill runner..

Starting to see some negatives.

Runs to upright takes alot of hard shots because of it..

Not a homerun threat gets caught from behind.. looking at his 40' he's not faster than Hunt and only a little faster than Perine.. NFL .com got him at 4.59 in the 40..

Not much in the passing game..

I'm seeing the same stuff again.. Not much versatility to his game .. reminds me of Cedric Benson..

Needs to work on blitz pick up..but all college RB do..

I disagree he is not better than Hunt and pretty close to Perine.. But Hunt is better more versatile..

Hunt my 1st choice .. Reminds me of Beast mode.. With the blance after contact inside and outside running open field cuts and versatility in passing and blocking game.... I think he best fits our system and is pro ready day one..

This game shows all the pro ready skillsets

Blitz pick up

Catching out the backfield..

YARDS AFTER 1ST CONTACT..

3 down back can be a bell cow back for you day 1 no doubt..

Again look at the 2nd effort and versatility..

Looks to be a smart runner. Makes good choices and has good field vision.

Semaji Perine make 2nd choice

Oh the power in this dude the thick bottom base from butt thighs to calfs .. Tells me this dude is going to punish defenders.. Low center of gravity and bend tells me defenses will have a hard time tracking him behind our oline and get a solid hit on him.. I comp him to a Jamal Lewis or smaller Bettis..

Not a homerun threat.. More of a batteringram that needs a running start.. Not a guy who can expolde from a dead start..

High carry guy most effective when able to punish a defense for 2 qrt. Then in the 3rd and 4th he will have motherfuger making business decision.. Needs to work on blitz pick up..

Again this guy lives off of yards after contact..

Need to see him more in the pass game..

Impressive balance. Appears very hard to knock down. One of these guys you have to wrap up rather than just shoving.

Wonder if we'd use him like we did Tolbert.

That would be interesting.  But I'd want to keep him at 235ish, not 260.  He could be an interesting running back, especially with his pass catching skills.

I wouldn't mind someone faster than a Tolbert Prime, when he could be a true battering ram and backfield receiver.

I don't know Bronn..

Pros

Love his body type.. love the power and effort..like his wiggle

Cons

Another upright runner

Don't like how he carries the ball not tight to his chest or ribs.. more lose and could fumble alot..

His cuts are a little slow not a desisive runner..

Runs more on instinct instead of seeing the whole field .. Runs right into spaces occupied by defenders..

I agree with Scot he does look alot like Foster..

I love his vision his cutting is like he saw the defender behind the defender right infront of him.. He had power plus finess and the blance is great.  Reminds me of Beast mode..

Know anything about his blocking?

Blocking is a big deal to the Panthers.

    • I like that a lot; Ware from Troy and also Khalil Mack who played at University of Buffalo
    • I remember the Huddle consensus over the course of last season and the previous one. Lots of Bryce is a bust, we should've drafted a 4th slot WR, should've kept Wilks, should've kept an armless Cam, etc etc. So... yea... already thought about that. I wouldn't trust the Huddle to detail my car, let alone run a multi-billion dollar professional sports team. 😛
    • bold prediction, I think Mike Green will be the best pass rusher in this class, and thats even with abdul carter.  He reminds me of demarcus ware, not just in size and prowess, but even coming from a Sunbelt school (Ware from Troy, Green from Marshall).  I think he is passionate about the sport where I think Carter as the physical freak might not have the heart.  Thats the guy Im sold on and am gonna hammer the table for, I know he's not projected 8, but he is projected like 12-13, so if a slide back can happen and we still get the guy I want, I'm 100% on board. All that said, it takes 2 to tango, I think the Cowboys are the tango-er.  IMO theres a VERY good shot that Jeanty is available at 8.  Why does that matter?  Not only do the cowboys NEED a runningback (dak sucks without a run game), but MORE importantly, gee where did Jeanty play in high school.....Frisco TX, literally Dallas Metro.  Soo, RB is a position of need and the best RB and most blue chip draft selection that  could improve the offense immensly played IN dallas metro AND will be in range for them to move up and pick?  Do ya think Jerry Jones is gonna just say no to the Jersey Sales?  Jerry might have sexually assaulted a woman and attempted to prevent black people from going to school, but he's no idiot (he is).  IMO, we get a good enough package, prlly their first and third,  maybe a conditional later and we move to 12.  We get Green, they get Jeanty, everbuddy happy.
