Realistic top 10 draft mock

I think it's also likely that Tennessee wants to trade up for Mike Williams, while still taking Adams at 5. Would you take #18, #83, #100, and a 2018 3rd for #8? I would. And that's fair value.

Panthers would end up with 5 top 100 players. And could get someone like Ross or McCaffrey at 18, which is better value than reaching at 8 for one of them.

Titans GM said they were shopping the 5th pick 2 weeks ago, nothing about shopping 18, I think a trade will happen in the top 10 but no idea who.

My opinions going into this draft is that EITHER 2 QB's will be taken before our pick, OR no QB's will be taken before our pick.  I think it's very possible that both Trubinsky and Watson go before our pick due to teams desperation for QB's.  The other thing I think is that Fournette will go before us, but not to LA, he'll go to JAX.  The best case scenario if both Adams and Fournette are off the board IMO is for no QB's to go before us to give us leverage to trade down with Cleveland so they can go up and get the QB they want and force Buffalo to take the other one (of either Watson and Trubinsky).  I really am starting to think that Jonathan Allen will be the pick unless we trade down.

I think the Jets would go QB for sure if one of the top 2 drop to them, so there is definitely 1 QB going top 10, the 49'ers QB situation is bad, very bad, I can totally see them going QB too. the question is Jacksonville. and a large part of the reason their HC was fired last year was because Bortles woefully underperformed. so I see the new HC who took over mid-season to look at other options aka draft a QB.

lol if you think note than one QB is going in the top 7. Even one is starting to look unlikely. Let's take a look at the facts.

-numerous teams at the combine told NFL insiders that this year, being arguably the worst QB class in league history, was a driving force behind last year's QB craze

-Alex Flanagan reports Niners are making a push for QB Kirk Cousins so they don't have yo draft a QB this year

-Alex Flanagan reports later that the Niners go out and sign Brian Hoyer so they at least aren't forces to draft a QB this year

-teams continue to express this is the worst QB class they've ever seen

The "But I need them to so I get my fave player" argument doesn't really stand up to the weight of everything we've heard

Never said the QBs being drafted that high were worth it, it's about need. Watch one of the top 2 QB's fall to the jets and see how long they stay on the board.

And Hoyer isn't anything but depth, if the 49'ers plan on starting him they need to go ahead and mail next season in.

There's no point in teams like the Jets, Niners and Bears wasting a top 6 pick on a QB unless they're IN LOVE with them.

They're all A LOT more than a QB away from competing. If I'm one of these guys I'm taking a safety or corner (guys who won't make huge impacts year one) and playing for the rights to draft Darnold.

The first words in this topic are "picks are made based on need"

they may need more then a QB, but please tell me how the 49'ers or Jets have bigger needs then QB? neither team has a starting quality QB on their roster, and it's the most important position on the team.
