As soon as vet CBs are on the roster and the 2nd year CBs see their sophomore slump, the vets will be inserted into a starting role. We all know that is what Rivera does when he can not trust a player and is afforded capable veteran starters to replace struggling second year players.

You don't take a zone CB in the top 10. If you're taking a CB in the top 10 he's going to be an elite man cover guy.
Now, if we plan to run more man coverage under Wilks then CB is absolutely in play.

No sure if wilks plans on running man, but our defense def needs to evolve, I'm tired of watching soft zone coverage get eaten alive late game. But if that's not the plan then you are correct, a top 10 pick shouldn't be spent on a zone corner
