Peurto Rico, no passport needed, everything is cheap, beautiful women, beaches are nice...slow pace of life, still feels close to home but different mindset.

 

there are better places but they're not cheap and are more touristy.

I've been to a decent amount of places in Europe if you're interested in that OP- Portugal, all around Spain, Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy

Because everyone stays in at nighy? Not like it was 15+ years ago. It's like any country or state or even city don't be dumb and find the nicer areas.

 

Travel instincts and not looking like a yuppie make the world of difference. Course if you are oblivious it'd be hard to hide.
