I'd also like to add....

I bet the fans of the other teams within the division, wished their teams, lost more games, so to pick higher than us.

I said it in December and I'll say it again.  Once mathematically eliminated, it is utter lunacy in most cases to cheer for meaningless wins.  Many players are on different teams and the value in each draft spot is so crucial.

It'll never happen but I'd honestly like to see a snake layout in the draft to prevent tanking, which has happened and will happen again.  I HATE the idea of a lottery, but leaving the first round as is, and the 2nd Round in reverse order as the 1st, the 3rd like the 1st, the 4th in reverse order, etc. provides a healthy balance of giving all teams a chance as well as not penalizing teams that do win.

I like your creative use of language, but it is a misuse. In your example, propelled is used in verb form to describe the moving action that fear and confusion created. However in your sentence you use it in noun form to convey justification for reasoning with no implied movement. The synonyms are irrelevant. You wouldn't say such a catapulting reason would you? Or maybe you would...

The OP is citing reasoning for the Panthers to take action. . 

I used the word, and wording for a reason. 

Sarcasm is lost on so many souls now days.

What are your thoughts on Samaje Perine? He runs a similar game as Fournette with the smash mouth style and the size to case some punishment

 

Fournette is my favorite to pick at 8, but if he is drafted earlier we could draft a top 3 DE or O.J Howard at 8 and possibly pick up Perine in a later round?

We need to get an elite offensive talent at 8. Odds are, we shouldn't be picking this high in the draft for the foreseeable future. We need to use this to add a young playmaker to inject some life into this stale offense. I want Fournette bad, not gonna lie, but I'd be happy with any of the elite talents in this draft.
