Interesting Read on Almost all of our draft possibilities

Here's a great write-up on essentially all of the prospects, 1 of whom we will draft, that Josh Norris just posted on his Twitter. Gave some good perspective on every single one of the players I'm curious about. Just a little food for thought on how good your wanted selection at #8 actually is based on true NFL scout analysis.

O.J. HOWARD, TE, Alabama: 6-6, 251. Most complete tight end in the draft. “Nothing wrong with him at all,” said one scout. “Big-time basketball player in high school. Just a country boy. Big, fast, athletic. Receiving tight end or every down.” Played extensively for four seasons. “There’s no dominant in-line guys anymore but he’s probably as good as you’re going to get coming out,” a second scout said. “As a receiver he’s still a little untapped. Only two years did he play with a pro-style quarterback. He’s a phenomenal human being. His upside is through the roof.” Ran a speedy 4.51 in the 40-yard dash Saturday at the combine.

I read this last week, and was focusing on the "Next Level" section wondering who would be there at 40, I just re-read the "Probably Gone" section since there are so many people thinking that we may be trying to trade into the back end of round 1 by bundling our 2 second round picks. There is a lot of talent available in both situations! Who knows what Dave has planned, but I'm excites as Hell.  Draft day is going to be like Christmas!

Nice, short synopsis of each player. Bob McGinn never disappoints. This just further cements my belief that if Fournette is there, then he's the guy. If he's not, maybe Adams. If Adams isn't there, then...

It's going to be BPA. If that's Howard, then Howard it will be!

Simple, we're not drafting a guy to be a #2 TE in our system 8th overall.

We drafted both a backup DT and a situational LB in the first.

I'm not saying we should draft a TE that early but you never know with DG.

Ideally, you'd want a bigger guy than Garrett playing DE #1 in the Carolina Panthers system

Taco is 2" taller and 5 pounds heavier but has shorter arms. No clue why you have such a raging man crush on the guy, but no sane person would even entertain the thought of Taco over Garrett.

You nimrods are both wrong read the fugin wrting on the wall we just traded Ealy, we're drafting a DE at 8 and the only DE in this draft that is a perfect fit for us is Charlton

There is maybe 2 DE worth in the first round for Panthers 4-3 scheme thats Garrett & Solomon

Otherwise there is better value in the mid rounds.
