Trade the rest of this year's draft? No. But I would package together a few picks to jump up and grab a guy if we believe he is an impact player that can be a core member of the team. I'm actually one of the few that hope we take OJ Howard at 8 and move up to grab a falling S or DE. OJ is going to be a monster in the NFL.

I really think the two second rounders will pay off better in the long run then gambling on a guy like OJ. I mean it isn't like he is a sure thing in the least sense

One league executive has already called Howard "the safest pick in the draft."

Not to be confused with the similarly sounding generic speak that stands for "I don't like this player, I much prefer some worthless middle round picks who will soon wash out of the league."

our score is: 9482 (GRADE: C-)

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 8: Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU (A)
Round 1 Pick 9 (CINN): O.J. Howard, TE, Alabama (A)
Round 1 Pick 10 (BUF): John Ross, WR, Washington (B+)
Round 5 Pick 8: Samaje Perine, RB, Oklahoma (B+)
Round 6 Pick 8: Trent Taylor, WR, Louisiana Tech (C-)

I got this with a little trading and our 1st next year.  I don't hate it. but meh,

Our offense would be fixed but John Ross isn't going in the top 10.

It could be the same pick but it'd be around 20.

Also round 6 i'm going Switzer unless he was gone in your draft.

I think this is totally impossible by the way. Just a fun game to pass the time. I had a choice between Davis and Ross  there. I agree with R6 But Switzer was gone.

Yea it's definitely impossible.

This year is so good draft wise I wet dream about having like 3 picks too and even then it's not enough. I want all the 1st round picks.

This might be the year trading NEXT years 1st wouldn't be stupid as stupid as it is to say that....I might condone it honestly. This crop is legit wouldn't surprise me if it goes down as one of the best but the QB class is so poo the usual hype won't be there.

Easy there friend, plenty of other highly ranked prospects have been called safe picks and haven't panned out. I think Howard has the potential to be a solid tight end, I'm just not convinced it would be best for the team to trade two second round picks (not worthless middle round picks good sir) for him. I really think one of those first 3 picks need to be a DE considering how many good prospects there are and how old we are at that position. But I'm not a GM so my opinion is pretty much BS ;)

Howard is in play at 8. Not the back end of the first. Hell be long gone by that point.
