Making Moose a TE won't help or solve anything. He's a good downfield blocker, when it concerns mostly DBs and CBs who are much smaller than he is, but to expect him to learn how to block DEs and blitzing LBs is an entirely different matter. Maybe our TEs hands will be better IF WE THREW TO THEM MORE! I expect Moose to be gone after this year. I love him, he's one of my favorite players all time, but he's been around forever.

Only if there's blown coverage do I suggest throwing the deep ball to Moose.

He just cant' go out there and get it anymore. Great blocker, great route runner on the short and intermediate routes. However, I do agree that in most offenses, Moose is a #3, if not on the depth chart (his blocking is so useful) then just in practice with how the plays are drawn up and where the ball's designed to go on passing downs.

I agree. It's time Jarrett was given more responsibilities in that. For what it's worth, I miss Drew Carter. He had potential for this role, and did well when given a chance.
