The three players selected right after Ealy

You can actually go back to and find many articles and mock drafts about us drafting Robinson and Landry. We worked out Robinson as much as any player.

This isn't hindsight 20/20 we had those two in our sights and after releasing every WR on our roster that offseason everyone thought we would draft two

It is, if Ealy had returned this year to 2015 playoff form, 1 he's still on the team, and 2 none of y'all are complaining. It is hindsight because he didn't workout in the end.

It wasn't, not even close actually 1996, and 2001 were epic WR drafts

Going by the numbers is not even a fair comparison the 2014 class shattered every record for WR. That class was hyped beyond belief

We also had 30M in cap space tied up in our 2 DEs. One wasn't signing long term and one he wanted rid of his contract in the worst way. I liked both Ealy and ARob. There was plenty of logic behind the Ealy pick. He had prototype skills for a DE in our system. We've seen them in spurts. But never matured. He didn't work like anyone wanted, but he at least played average overall and they were able to get about mid 4th round value for him. That's not a complete bust. Trading up for Funchess, if he doesn't improve, is a complete bust.

How was anything I said stupid? Either elaborate and make conversation, or don't say sh*t at all tbh

Because the first words out of your mouth were "I know you can do this in every draft" hence already admitting your doing nothing but pointless complaining. Hence why it's stupid. Happy now?

Not is not. 2015 playoff form really? A 3 game sample? Jesus Christ can you reach any harder. What are your thoughts on Deion Branch and Dexter Jackson? Lol

Ealy has never been worth a second, he rode Micheal Sam coattails at Mizzou

We could of drafted Hardy's replacement in 2015. IMO the WR class was to great to pass up and just draft one

Well you can look at players drafted after almost all of DG's picks and say what if! At the time of the Ealy pick we needed a pass rusher! Ealy was obviously at the top of DG's board! He didn't pan out, so DG cut his losses and moved on! Hopefully he gets a dynamic pass rusher in this draft cause we need a young guy bad at this point!

Ealy made Sam SEC DEF player of the year. That statement right there shows all you need to know about your football knowledge. Find any MIZZOU fan that disagrees. There's a reason one went 2nd round and one went almost last. And it wasn't cause one liked guys.

DG has later said that he wanted to trade up and grab Ealy earlier in the 2nd when he fell in the draft, but the other Panthers guys in the draftroom recommended to sit tight and believed he could fall to Panthers original pick. Just glad they didn't trade up and give even more for him, when that was a real possibility..

Not really Sam didn't go higher cause he was a limited athlete that peaked in college. But his peak at Mizzou was WAY better than Ealy's.

Which is easy to say now. But there is no argument against the solid logic of the pick, at that time. No one seems upset we chose Trai in the 3rd.

How do you spell HYPE, ESPN. the draft class is no where near old enough to even evaluate and compare to other classes, unless you are looking at the talent that went into the draft and not what the actual talent ended up being coming out of the class
