Things that are obvious after day 2

1. We trust Worley to start. We wouldn't take another rookie corner esp after signing Capn. I'd hate to see Capn on the outside if Worley goes south. There's still time to bring in a veteran, but this is no on their radar.

2. The line is set with no questions. If healthy and jelling, it's gonna be a top 5 unit.

3. Drafting a WR at 8. We lose two speedsters and have brought in two special teamers. We need an impact speedster.

4. They are happy with Gano and that needs to change. I guess kickers could wait, but Gano needs to go.

5. Getting a 2nd rounder back for wasting on on Ealy (which was a reach at the time), but it proves all Gettleman's moves dont pay off.

6. Panthers overlooking character issues with bringing back a player in Peppers with known motor issues. He'll only play in passing situations, but still. It's a ticking time bomb and we don't need that rubbing off on Benjamin. Maybe this is a sign we grab Cook.

7. We still don't have a fullback. Wonder what the wait is?

Worley was a 3rd gone BEAST     we have beast ass corners

3) WR at 8 is not an option. There are no speedster WR worthy of top 10 pick.

5) Ealy was not a reach, he was a 1st round talent that fell to 2nd round due to inconstant play. That never changed. Gman rolled the dice, he lost.

7) Darrel Young, former Redskins is our FB. He and Devon Johnson will fight it out in camp.

You can't rule out entire position groups for pick 8 besides QB. If we trade down a little I could see Ross or Davis being the pick, not a great chance but it depends on who gets picked before 8. Although this WR draft is so deep (just like the DBs and RBs too) and especially since we have 2 second rounders, could get much better value in the late 2nd or with our 3rd round comp to get someone like Westbrook  or Isaiah Ford , or Zay Jones if he drops to late 2nd (even though he's not necessarily known for being extra fast)

Obvious to me: we are drafting Ross at 8 for speed, and Godwin with the Pats late 2nd. Doubling up on WR. Both would be upgrades to the guys we just signed. And then Funchess gets traded to Detroit for a 3rd. We draft a S and a LB with the 3rd round picks. End of story.

I rather take Fournette or Howard at 8 and address the WR with mid round pick

I think the staff must like one of the two fullbacks on the roster.
