For those who don't remember, Captain was amazing his last year as a Panther. He created several turnovers, and was great rushing the passer on blitzes. He damn good nickel.

Captain Munnerlyn - DB - Panthers

Panthers signed SCB Captain Munnerlyn, formerly of the Vikings.

Munnerlyn spent the first five years of his career in Carolina, and it always seemed likely he would come back home after the Vikings let him hit the open market. The Panthers are set on the outside with James Bradberry and Daryl Worley, but Munnerlyn is both a big upgrade in the slot and a solid veteran addition to a young cornerback room.
