I saw a stat somewhere that kalil's $55mil deal was more than every other FA deal gettleman had given out previously combined ($54mil and change). Made me chuckle.

that's two days into free agency. we don't have that many holes on our roster. we have great defensive personnel and great offensive personnel. we need a tune-up, not a new engine. gettleman is far from perfect but he's addressing positions of need in free agency and clearly isn't afraid to spend the money to do it. so keep your stupid chins up: we're a punt returner and a strong safety away from winning a super bowl!

it wouldnt let me pie you cus im over the limit today i guess, so great point! 

for real though, i felt somewhat defeated after this past season. i was so disappointed in the team and coaching staff. But knowing the core is still intact, and seeing that we are aggressively adding players that fill the holes we do have, plus knowing that the draft is still coming up?! 

dare i allow myself to get excited again? if we keep on this trajectory, i wont be able to help it.
