The reason we like sports deep down is because of the personal story. 

What a great script for the next Super Bowl. Guys come back to their first team to try to win their first championship. 

It's LaLa land talk for now but makes for a great story when I use my imagination, thinking  of watching it on a 30 for 30 in 4/5 years.

I think it might be the other way around. Dave pimped CAP and he has been salty ever since. Pep really is a outsider to this team except for maybe CJ and Davis.
