Am I off base, but didn't something happen where he fell out of favor in Minnesota the last couple years? On or off field issue? If not, I'm not opposed to the idea.

Please for the love of God.   We've needed a returner for ages and I think he's stretch the field for Cam.

If we can sign Patterson and then get Peppers/Munnerlyn/possibly Cruz, I'd feel a lot better going into next season.   The WR core would still be shaky but KB/Funchess/Patterson/Cruz/Shepherd could be a nice balance.

He'd be interesting.  Or is he limited to simply a kick returner (not punt), and a less than marginal WR?  I know he's been inconsistent throughout his career with his hands, route running, and over all WR craft.  Is he that bad?  If he's that bad, then is he worth 3-5 kicks per game, half of which will be touch backs?

So do y'all think he will ever get to Ginn's level of being a WR?  Or is he simply a deep threat that will make a couple of catches per year?
