A guy with major surgeries on both knees and currently recovering form shoulder surgery........... At the 8th overall???? NO THANKS

I mean how fast can be run while on IR form his 3rd knee surgery??

Which guy are we talking about here ? I thought the WR that had double knee surgery was Ross and not Davis.

I'm mistaken, I swear I thought this was a Ross topic.

I was reading he does have a shoulder, and he has some ankle problems. Had surgery on that before the combine. Idk like another poster said, the level of competition concerns me too. I mean hell, guys like Keyarris Garrett looked like a sure pro bowler and a TO type of talent. I know they weren't projecting him in the top 15 but imagine if the comparisons never played out. It would be a magnificent fug up.

Then who is? Mike Williams is just a shorter Kelvin Benjamin. Ross has his injury concerns. I don't see who else would be.

Mike is the best wr in this draft and after the dust settles it will be laughable. Cory Davis is this years Kevin White.

Just because you keep saying this doesn't make it true. The fact is that we likely won't know for a year or two. Plenty of scouts say that he is the best receiver in this draft, and/or at least the one with the most upside.

He apparently ran a 4.48 at some point in his career. I would think that would be fast enough. He likely would have shaved a little of that off if he had been able to train for and attend workouts at the Combine. Really, a great route runner with good size and hands, great athleticism, and 4.4 speed is golden.

Upside and potential just means you haven't proven poo yet. Mike Williams dominated an Alabama defense

Not exactly. It means you have a certain amount of ceiling relative to being a pro in the NFL. By many accounts, Davis has the highest ceiling of any receiver in this draft, including Mike Williams. Moreover, he's already a better route runner, and just the more complete receiver.

You're wrong, but certainly entitled to your wrong opinion. That's why they play the games tho, we can revisit this discussion in a year or two.

I think Mike Williams is going to be very good, but does he fit this team?  I think he's going to be a better version of KB, but I think we have a desperate need for speed / route running on this team.

The way this Free Agency is setting up looking more and more like we will either have a good choice at a Defensive lineman or a good skills position guy.  Fournette is more than likely going to be gone so will be safeties more than likely.

Im starting to feel like an elite pass catcher coming at 8 is becoming more and more a reality.

Wouldn't mind Corey Davis, Mike Williams, or OJ Howard.

I don't comment on a player without having knowledge or done research. I cannot speak on Corey Davis. I started to research Ross once he ran that blazen 4.22, but it ended shortly after I seen his known medicals. I did bring attention to Mike Williams and him being s-l-o-w(weeks before combine). I don't care what he runs on home track surface @ 39.5 yards long.....
