This is what happens when your favorite team isn't committed to winning championships, but instead more concerned with trying to find a "diamond in the rough" or the cheapest possible route just for that slight chance that it works out and they can pat themselves on the back and say "see I told you so". Which btw doesn't happen very often and is one of the biggest reasons we've been a mediocre franchise for the past 22 years. We value general manager's ego over actually winning.
