$9-$10 mill a year is not an overpay, that's going rate for free agent Tackles that don't just fall over these days. Either the DE position has improved drastically or there is a severe OT deficiency in the league

this has all the makings of the hornets gunning for gordon hayward with a max deal only to have utah match it. there was a brief moment of comforting spite where we were glad to have financially hamstrung an opponent and that lasted for a bit and then we began to realize we missed out on our only chance at improvement and were left hanging with nothing but crap in lance stephenson.

We are desperate right now because of the Oher situation..

We have to pay..

Clady is a no....

Would rather draft Ramczyk at 8 than pay Kalil this much.  Okung, Whitworth, Beachum, trade for Peters/Staley/Thomas, all preferable than overpaying Kalil.

Even that is desperation..

Reaching for a rookie to protect Cam's blind side..

Why can't ppl see Dave kinda fuged up bad last year not bringing in any upgrades or young OT...

Who? We had around 15M before Norman fiasco. There was no one left after

that. And who should we have drafted?

I definitely agree.  I've been adamant I want a vet in this Super Bowl or bust season.  I'm with you in that I want Barnett 1a and Fournette 1b in April.  That's how scared I am of paying big money for the last name Kalil.  4 straight years of injury, mediocrity, or outright sucktatude.  I really hope we dodge the bullet or I'm wrong.

This is the problem i have seen since Dave got here..

He has a good year making moves brings in some nice bargins we have a good year.. Next offseason he does nothing to build off that success.. Instead he loses players and tries to rebuild whole position groups.. We lose .. Then next offseason he acts like he learns and starts making moves again.. We win.. Then he does nothing and We lose...and on and on and on. So far this is the pattern..

And again that was his fault.. Who does that??

Put a tag on a player then recind it after no FA are left..

Who does the whole rebuliding whole position groups after having a winning season..

He never builds on momentum...
