Hes a 1 trick pony that got overpaid for that trick. The refusal of the rams offer will always sting ( man fitt was terrible) but he does his trick once every 2 games and disappears for the rest of the time. And he sucks at run d. He is not worth what the giants paid but I wish we got more for him -

Not really. I don't think he is nearly as good as some think he was and his stats this year so far help back that up. He just isn't dominant for the money he got. I don't think we got much for him in trading but I sure as hell didn't want us to pay him what the Giants did. Remember the players on defense back in the day who were faces of the franchise and dominant? Burns definitely is no Peppers or Luke or anyone to that level and couldn't take over a game. He just wasn't as great as he thought he was in my opinion. We could use him of course but no way I would pay that kind of money for what he offers in his play.
