40 Speed is highly overrated for RBs

BC vision and balance are most important.

Well this guy is more of a bruiser. I feel like every highlight I've seen of him he lowers his shoulder and levels some kid.

He is not a Stewart clone he's Stewart esque.

Stewie 4.46

Dood ran a 4.6

And the explosiveness is in Stews favor too.

AE was fast too according to the Huddle non experts. To everyone else and reality he was slow AF.

I like Perine and he is a great man and would be a fantastic culture fit and one hell of a 4th round pick. Anything else is just bullshit and he'd need to be spelled more than Stew or DWill as both of those are/should be every down feed me players.

Before the move Stew was also one hell of a kick returner and catches and blocks like oh...a first round pick.

Dood isn't a 2nd rounder...not  a Stewart clone.

Stewart similar at best. When you go back and look at Stewarts pre draft stuff it's hardly any  negatives to be found he could and does do it all.

Usually people over value our players and this time they don't realize how insane Stewie is.

Could just be fournette insurance. Though, as an OU fan,I've been waiting for this as soon as I saw him play for the first time.

here is a fun read. Not an argument for him being good or bad; just a fun read about his strength: http://m.tulsaworld.com/sportsextra/ousportsextra/ou-sports-samaje-perine-can-lift-how-much/article_278f3517-7d46-53c1-96fe-87bd9a301074.html

I think getty can snag this kid with the late 3rd.  staying put makes more sense in this draft unless you want to move back into the 1st to get another 5th year option.  packing both 3rd rounders or their high 3rd and a 4th to move into the 2nd will only get carolina up to about pick 58. not worth it imo.

It sucks that so many good posters from the past have devolved into whiny pessimists... I hope we win this year to cheer everyone up

Jeremy should have set up a safe space in all pro.

Actually, almost Le'Veon Bell's level if he cuts the weight.

Uh, what?  He can't catch the ball out of the backfield to save his life.  He's a bruiser, something Bell never was.  Damn dude.  Where do you get your shitty information from?  He could be the next LeVeon Bell?  Mixon maybe.  But Perine? God no.

Le'Veon Bell was big in college. Dropped the weight and became who he is today.

Perine has potential to make those quick cuts and get to that speed by losing weight, but still retaining his power.

Check his freshmen year out.

I've watched him every season his whole career at OU.  Bell was a better RB coming out of College.  No way he gets to that level.  He's a bruiser and that's it.  He doesn't catch the ball out of the backfield ever.
