I was at an event with Ron Rivera last night and he told the many attendees this information so it's not too secretive I'm assuming. Thought I would share the info though.

Curious to what.  As much "cap" that we had there isn't much left for a Splash.

we are sitting at about 22 mil.  Rookie contracts will take up about 8 mil.

We will will have about 14.5 mil after setting aside for rookies.

Gettleman always like to have about 4 mil sitting there in case something comes up around season start (see 15 when Johnson went down and we signed Allen)

so really we have right at 10.5 mil spending money.  That's not much.  Heck Kalil is getting 10 mil offer from min.

Unless someone is wanting to take a big pay cut the math really doesn't add up for a "big splash"
