Personally, i don't think there is ever a reason or excuse for hitting a woman...  but if there was one, being pushed and punched by a woman in public would be a really good one.  Being attacked physically causes people to react in different ways...  if this was an attack initiated by him physically, a la Ray Rice, then fug him.  But, that's not the case.  If we gave Worley consideration, Mixon should get it as well if his interviews are convincing of his contrition.  But, i'm sure we didnt even interview him.

Thing is to say "you should never hit a woman no matter if they are attacking you" is actually saying "women will never be equal to men". What if the woman is trans? Is it ok to hit them then if they hit you? I'm 170 pounds. There are plenty of women who go to the gym every day who build up muscle and are close to my weight. So are they weaker than me just because they're a woman? There are plenty of women in the United States military that would kick everyone's ass in this thread. But they are weaker than us because they're simply women?

Really if you're on the side of the argument that a man shouldn't retaliate because you believe women are weaker, then you should also believe that a weaker man should be allowed to hit you too right? And how do you judge who is weaker? Plenty of people, both men and women, are smaller than me but are also stronger.

Point is no one human should lay their hands on another human without expecting anything in return.

Yeah I don't like the unequal treatment thing either, especially if the woman was the one that instigated it. If that was a dude who instigated the fight and pushed/spit at mixon, and mixon clocks him one good time, it isn't even news. But he's a heinous villain because its a woman and not a man? FOH
