We don't know the details. Rumor is it's a small year one and big team option year two. No one knows the guaranteed money either. Plus believe it or not CJ was 5th (yes 5th) overall in a stat that combines sacks and QB hurries. Plus I hope you realize the free agent market is in the insane time and given the terrible options, this isn't bad at all.

Amazing signing. Ppl like to freak out before seeing all the details. Kudos for CJ for agreeing to structure this way. It should show he believes in the organization and he should be commended for his loyalty. Where would we get a quality reserve player for those numbers?

As usual, people freak out about a contract BEFORE knowing details....despite Voth and whoever else saying it's not fully guaranteed (and never would be).  Good on ya, CJ.
