Panthers Have Tendered Andrew Norwell, Tyler Larsen and Michael Palardy

Dude you're high. 

Your bushel of apples analogy is crap. Norwell looked good in comparison to everyone else because he played significantly better than everyone else and would have looked just as good had Kalil or Oher started all year too. He would have looked good with anyone next to him. The fact he actually played so well was ridiculous considering who he had playing on either side of him through most of the year.

Who gives a poo if he was undrafted? He outplayed EVERY OTHER GUARD on our team that was drafted and ended up eventually starting his rookie year. We had a second round pick that he replaced (amini Silatolu)... so the whole "drafting a guy in the second is easy" line of thinking doesn't make any sense. 

I don't even understand why you think he's "at best rotational" until he gets a pro bowl or all-pro nod. The dude was hands down our best lineman all year, and looked better than Turner even when Turner was back in his natural position at guard. Not his fault Turner got the pro bowl nod over him, Turner didn't deserve it and anyone who watched last season would agree - Norwell deserved it over Turner. 

In my mind, Turner and Norwell are equal. Turner has more accolades but Norwell has been more consistent. I'd say Turner has a higher upside because he's a better athlete, but Norwell is a rock of consistency when he's in at LG. Ask any team out there if they'd take Norwell as a starter, and I guarantee that 28 or so teams out there would jump at that chance.
