Panthers are the least active team in free agency over past 3 years

For most of us who follow the Panthers closely, this isn't breaking news to us. I still thought it was a solid read for a slow Tuesday morning.

We all know it, no need to post it, it used to be common knowledge because Hurney fuged our cap, but even with money to spend, we dont haha kinda makes me sad known we will never go after a big name, but IT IS WHAT IT IS

Yes and no. Last year we had money, but it was wise to hold off on spending until this offseason where we could roll the money over to spend it on a larger number of critical guys that needed a new contract instead of just one good one in Josh Norman. 

If we do nothing this year, then I'll be just as miffed, but last offseason I don't really blame Getts for not spending a ton of cash. 

He best open his wallet (smartly!) this offseason though.

I agree 100%, I just already have the feeling this year will be the same, cap is half gone already just from KK, and over paying Addison and Horton haha hopefully they prove me wrong, I'm keeping my fingers crossed

In terms of actual free agents we are probably the least active team in the last 15 years.

 

The packers are another cheap  franchise wasting the prime of one the greatest QBs ever.

Of the top 10 teams in free agency spending of the last 3 years only one has a winning record over that time.

Of the bottom 10 teams in free agency spending over the last 3 years only 2 have a losing record.
