Oh, this thread again?  I joind PanthersHuddle in early 2004.

Posters you miss may include MrsPantherFan, MsSkyy, CosmoGirl, Mintal, Montag, Dimbee, Nance, Engine9, BoInMonroe, Livermush, ZCustom, SunBunny, Squirrel, Skew, ClayJ, Buddha Jones, Bleys, King Taharqua, TriangleCat, Kevin Greene, Monsta, Davidson Deac, PantherChick, MonkeyButt, Porn Shop Clerk, PStall, Bleys, GotoGirl, Jester, MrScott, Charlottinean, Delhommey, HomeboyJase, Panthro, NorthernHawk and a few others who still post.  I'm annoyed that I can't think of more names of people who actually went to tailgates, even though I can see their faces and am still friends with them on Facebook.

Not sure of all the spellings, but there were a lot of posters who made this place what it is and who have moved on for one reason or another.  Back then we didn't all like each other and we argued a lot, but we all got along for the sake of the Panthers, and I've raised a beer with many people that I otherwise would not have because of this place.  A shared love of the Panthers is a pretty good place to start when you want a friend. 

As for the so-called demise (I think the Huddle is bigger than ever), I think Facebook had a ton to do with it, personally. Ending the Tailgate finished the transition from this being a Social/Football site to a Football Site, IMHO.
